Izaara has choreographed and created many fashion shows for clients that include the sports council and many big local brands over the past 2 decades.
Having pioneered the 1st fashion walk in a bazaar in Singapore for IWA, it went on to do the first multi designer show in Singapore to creating the first Mum and kids show -Runway mum.
Our founder has been a model and choreographer and has been also been featured on the covers of magazines.
India Se Fashion Show
The India Se fashion show on 26th October 2012 was conceptualised and created by Izaara for the magazine India Se .This was a 4 designer event showcasing leading designers from Singapore.
IZAARA was the model co-ordinater, choreographer and stylist for the event. We did it all from the unique concept, its theme, the styling, the music and every working with every model who graced the ramp. This Indian dance with fashion show was indeed one of a kind in its concept and execution, all brought to you very proudly by IZAARA.
Runway Mom
RUNWAY MOM, an event from the heart, conceptualized and implemented by Monisha Charan a creative producer -director of IZAARA.
Runway mom was done as an ODE to the spirit of womanhood as it epitomised all the roles a woman plays in today’s society.
With Motivational workshops ,styling, creative conceptualizing of all the looks and the lively choreographing of the fashion segments by Monisha the event also saw some fabulous live music performances and great crowd support.
The event has since moved on from being a non -Izaara event but the legacy of being its creator lives on with fond memories.
IWA Bazaar Fashion Show
Monisha who was the special events co-ordinator created the first ever fashion show to be held in a Bazaar for IWA in 2009.
Fresh of the ramp, the Pure Earth rebranding fashion show which Monisha had worked on, she created this unique show which then went on to become a signature event in all the upcoming bazaar’s for many years to come.
Wow!! That was a super duper hit alright. So many people – both vendors and members of the public have come up and told us how much they loved the ‘new look’ of the IWA Bazaar… Congrats Monisha Charan (our fashion events creator) you pulled it off and how! We all know how hard you slogged to make this a smashing hit.
Sports Council Fashion Show
A fashion show with national athletes of Singapore for the Sports council of Singapore.
Created and executed at short notice in a span of 5 days, with the first glimpse of the models on the morning of the show.
This was a show with no rehearsals or formal training of the models. It all happened in one morning in 2 hours from choregraphing and training the models, including the little gymnasts with the supreme belief that it would all work out well, which it did.
The show at 11am was graced by a minister and was held at the ESPIRIT store at Suntec City.
A very empowering experience to have been able to pull it off well, with appreciation and accolades from one and all.
Monisha has graced the ramp for many brands like IWG, Divine Raga, with walk and styling done by her. The Fashion walk with a mission – “the way to a woman’s heart” for Singapore’s Jewel Fest was her first walk on the ramp in Singapore. Featured in TVC’s and toothpaste commercials were all her part of her fashion journey.

Monisha Charan, your Mystical Myths stood out due to its distinct vision of reaching out to the local audiences. Bringing the Chinese, the Malay, the Indian and the Western plays together was a beautiful weave that represented Singapore’s inherent fabric. I absolutely loved the ‘lady white serpent’, ‘the tape’ gave me goosebumps, the malay story brought a twisted taste of anger, dismay and pity (the actors were outstanding!), and the Indian myth Aravan was one I had not heard of before. Loved the grace Siddhi and her partner brought to the show. Take a bow Monisha! Well done.
Last night my Husband and I among a few other members and friends attended Mystical Myths produced by Monisha Charan of Izaara at Goodman Arts Centre. Mystical Myths is made up of four folk tales directed by 4 extremely talented local directors. The performances, had many emotions it left us mesmerised. Great performance from the entire cast. Book your tickets for this great production and see amazing local talent tell their mystical myth. Just two more shows to go tonight and Sunday it’s not too late to book and enjoy this great theatre production.
Watched the very entertaining Mystical Myths. 4 beautiful stories, a fabulous cast and a kickass producer who always brings something different to the stage. Only 2 shows left. Catch the sheer magic of these myths!
